As a Graphic Designer at WealthVest Marketing, I led and executed design initiatives that strengthened engagement with both our client’s and our own brand identities. Initiatives ranged from local in-house scales to nationally distributed campaigns for Fortune 500 clients. From developing digital and print assets to producing motion graphics and video content, I’ve honed a multidisciplinary approach which allows more freedom and creativity in brand assets and advertising. Additionally, while in my role, I was able to build and manage a remote production studio to expand WealthVest’s marketing capabilities. This experience that deepened my understanding of team management, AV studio production, hands-on camera work, live audio recording, lighting techniques, and AV software that are required for editing. While working at WealthVest Marketing, I had the opportunity to be not just a graphic designer but an entire creative department.

Brand Guidelines

This is a brand guideline that myself and the rest of the design team worked on for WealthVest. We built and implemented custom illustrations, charts, and a complete icon library. We reworked the color palette to be to trustworthy utilizing various blues and paired them with bright colors that both contrasted the blues but could stand on their own on a white page.

Social Media

WealthVest has a robust social media program that spans financial education, event announcements, awardee acknowledgments, and employee appreciation. Over the years, these designs have really developed. Starting with static design posts, I eventually developed our brand language into motion assets that were templated and customizable to fit various needs and stand out against WealthVest’s competitors.

Videos

Video production at WealthVest was my most in-depth contribution. I built and managed a video and audio production studio for the company. Starting as an on-site collapsable studio, I developed and expanded it to an off-site location. The studio went from strictly being for video production to being a location for making videos and podcasts. Not only did I build and produce the assets made at the studio, but, I managed it as well. This required writing detailed production instructions and running tutorial sessions with my colleagues to ensure quality and aesthetic consistency. Furthermore, I was lead on all video and audio post-production assignments. My responsibilities included cutting footage, color grading, green screen editing, script formatting, closed caption production, audio editing, building motion graphics for intro’s and outro’s, building motion assets to accompany information in videos, and designing custom audio assets.
